THE POWER OF POSITVE THINKING.

The world as a whole with Nigeria as part has problem that have defied solution over the years, reason being that you refused to act. By implication of the above statement, you owe the world a solution to one of these problems. Why do you want to pass through this planet without a footprint traceable to your name? The worst tragedy in life is not dead but a life that has failed to fulfill it purpose. Be informed, prominent discoverers or inventors were common men like you and I until they discovered or invented something that solved one of the problems of our society that their names were and are recorded in the anal of history. If this challenges you and you want to act, then you must not just act but faster. You may ask why? Because you are passing through this world once and for all, therefore now is the time, the season and the period that you have to offer to the world whatever that is in your store. Besides, men have only three days to live; Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. You have wasted Yesterday that is why you have not advertised anything to the world in your own name. Today is here, you have every opportunity to market something unique to the world so that by the time you pass to the other side of the world, generation upon generations shall see your footprints on the sea shores and rank you among the greatest of mortal. As for Tomorrow, remember it is full of uncertainties; you may not be alive by this time tomorrow. If you want to have a place in destiny, then something ought to be done. Of what value are you to your Family, Village, Local Government Area, State, Nation and the World as a whole? If there is nothing you are living for, do something fast else you will soon die and be forgotten. However, I must keep on remaining you that you exist because there is a storm of life attached to your name. To be candid with you, it may not be easy writing your name in the book of records as it has not been easy even in time past with people like Thomas Edison and electric bulb, Abraham Lincoln as the president of America, Karl Marx and socialism/communism, Neil Armstrong and the moon, Henry Ford and ford motors, Hellen Adams Keller who was blind, deaf and dumb, with all her disabilities she studied five major languages namely English, French, Greek, German and Latin. These great men among others failed several times in actualizing their dreams but persisted until their dreams came to lime light and today they are celebrated not only in their localities but worldwide. Yours may not be different. Success will smile at the face of he/she who refused to lie down at the corridor of failure. For you to excel in life and be celebrated you must forget your past failures and keep looking forward. Forgetting one’s past mistakes is stepping into a glorious future. Look away from your past or you will die as mediocre. Henry Ford the owner of ford motors was not good in academics but turned out to be a mechanical genius. J.M Whister the famous America painter entered WestPoint with the ambition to pursue a military career after graduation. Unfortunately, he failed in Chemistry and ended his beautiful dream. Whister decided to become an engineer and enrolled in a school of Technology. He study diligently, but his finger fumbled so badly that he became an object of ridicule and was expelled from school and instead of given up, he went in for painting and his business sold like hot cake and before long, Whister became a household name in United States and Europe. There are many people who have beautiful dreams and ideas of what to do to solve one of the world problems but have not been able to do so, because they lack courage and no one has inform them that all they need to break the record is courage; this is to say you are lucky to have been given this thought-provoking write-up. Courage is what you need to actualize your dreams. It is the principal requirement for exploits in life. “We cannot discover new world until we have the courage to lose sight of the shore. We cannot walk on the water until we get out of the boat” whoever restrains you from a fight has robbed you of your crown. Whatever stops you from starting your journey has denied you of your destination. Permit me to say; for one to make history, one need not to do what is popular and commonly practice. “Until you see differently from the way the world sees, you cannot enter your possession” until you are ready to do what nobody else has done, you cannot get what anyone else has got. If you want to get what others have never experienced, then you have to do what others have never done. You cannot get better results than others, if you follow their ways. By implication, you should not be a party to the maxim “as it was in the beginning, so it is now, and ever shall it be, without end” Try to do it different and let's see whether or not the result will be the same. You must be criticized, be informed. People are afraid of change and always see change in the negative angle of it. You must therefore be focus and ready to face criticisms. When Martins Luther was searching for the great truth, he eventually stumbled on this simple but powerful sentence ‘the just shall live by faith’ this statement generated criticisms from all and sundry but see the positive effect in the Christendom today. Whoever want to make history should be ready to pay the price for there is no crown without cross, nor palm without pain. Hear Edmund Hillary, the man who climbed to the top of Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. It is about 8.5 kilometers high. Sir Edmund and his colleagues made several unsuccessful attempts at climbing the mountain. But one the day, Edmund stood at the foot of the mountain and addressed it saying, “Mountain, you have overcome me till now, but no more. You have grown old that you will ever grow, but am still growing” And in 1964, Sir Edmund stood on the summit of the mountain, waving his hand to the whole world. He has overcome at last! That victory was born out of courage. This reminded me of the common saying “Testimonies are born out of trials and miracles out of obstacles” Let the world discover you as an undiscovered discoverer or inventor, for that which God prepared for you are hidden for you but not from you. Why post-pone what you can do today? Remember they said, “Procrastination is a thief of time” Looking forward to seeing you at the top

OTHER WAYS OF USING MOBILE PHONE:

Many people thought mobile phone is all about making and receiving calls from friends. In this write-up I shall expose to you other ways of using mobile phone.

Things you never knew your cell phone could do. Your cell phone can actually be a life saver or tool for survival in times of grave emergency.

v     Emergency Number worldwide. The emergency number for mobile phone is 112. if you find yourself out of coverage area of your network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search for any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

v      Unlock your car with cell phone. Have you ever locked your keys in the car? Does your car have remote keys? This is good news for you. This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: if you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your own cell phone. Hold your phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundred of miles away, it doesn’t matter. Alternatively, if you can reach someone who has the other “remote” for your car you can unlock the doors. It has been tested and found worthy of trust. You may however confirm it before the raining day.

v     Hidden Battery Power. Do you use Nokia products? This is your time to celebrate. Have you ever missed an important call just because your battery ran-down? [Low Battery] what a pity. If only you have known this before then. If on the other hand you have not experience the foregone, let me use this example to enable you understand what am trying to portrait. Imagine your cell phone battery is very low, you are expecting an important call and you don’t have a charger or no light as it is very common in Nigeria. Nokia products come with a reserve battery. To activate, press the keys *337# your mobile phone will restart with this reserve battery, it will show 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your phone next time.

v     How to disabled a stolen mobile phone? Have you ever been robbed and your phone taken away? Or have your phone ever been stolen? Paid more attention even as you read this section of the write-up. Do you know that your mobile phone has serial number? Do I hear you say NO? To check your mobile phone serial number, press the following digits on your phone. *#06#, can you see 15 digits on your screen? The code is unique to your phone. Write these numbers down and keep it somewhere safe. When your cell phone gets stolen, you can phone your service provider [MTN, Glo, Mtel, Cetel etc] and give them your code. They will block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be useless. Note: you won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole the phone can’t use it either.
